4 Must-Try Affordable Restaurants in Dubai

Dubai’s dining scene includes everything from high-end tasting menus to neighbourhood eateries. Hidden among the skyscrapers are places where flavour meets value, ideal for anyone travelling on a budget or working in the city.
These four restaurants balance good food with reasonable prices and local charm.

Rohini by Little Miss India

Located inside the Mövenpick Hotel in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Rohini combines bright décor with inventive Indian cooking. The restaurant offers a business lunch menu priced around $26 CAD (two courses) from Monday to Friday, between 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Starters include lentil soup and vegetable samosas, followed by mains such as butter chicken or paneer tikka masala served with rice or naan. Café Isan

A few blocks away, Café Isan serves the kind of Thai food usually found in small Bangkok kitchens. Guests can choose between two great midday offers: a Business Lunch (about $33) available Monday to Friday, 12 pm – 3 pm, which includes a starter, main, and dessert from the menu; or the Three-Dish Menu (about $37), available daily until 5 pm, where diners can pick from six curated set menus. Popular dishes include papaya salad, green curry, and spicy stir-fried basil chicken. The restaurant’s modest setting, handwritten menu boards, and open kitchen create an easygoing feel. Guests can also ask for the daily curry, which changes according to the chef’s ingredients that morning.

Lo+Cale

Located in the Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina, Lo+Cale is known for its healthy but satisfying lunch sets. A two-course meal costs around $22, and a three-course meal about $26. The menu features grilled salmon, quinoa salad, and roasted vegetables, all plated with care. Tables near the windows overlook the marina, making it a pleasant stop for a midday break. In addition to the lunch sets, Lo+Cale offers several other promotions: a Business Lunch for $26, a Steak, Pint & Fries deal for $52 every Friday, All-Day Happy Hours from 12 PM to 8 PM and a Fish & Chips special for $37 every Monday (kids under 6 eat free from the kids’ menu).
